Executing the Method

Spread Alternatives
Spread out all alternatives on the table or in another good overview.

Review Alternatives
Review each idea shortly, and make an order from best to worst, comparing them one by one.

Remove Worst Alternatives
Remove the worst half of ideas. Review the remaining half and order them again from best to worst.

Repeat
Repeat the last step until a few numbers of ideas is left or you feel further iteration is pointless.
